transmission problems
need help. just had my transmission rebuilt 6 monts ago. Now the overdrive switch is flashing and the tachometer is going crazy and the transmission is shifting really hard. I have a 1991 F350 diesel with an automatic transmission and overdrive

Your tach is causing the trans to go into Limp Mode a safety feature so the trans does not destroy itself. Check the wires just where they exit the sensor, quite often they will have the plastic shielding pulled back and touch each other due to fan air flow. Check the connector at the sensor harness and the engine harness connector at the drivers fender.
