i am going through the channels and see spike has "gold finger" on and as i am watching it, (wich i will be for the next few hours) i realize that this movie was made in 1964, thats 2 years before i was even born(and thats a pretty long time ago) and it is still great. its kind of amassing that a movie that is older than me, is still so entertaining...just a thought
Two years before you were born is a pretty long time ago? Come on, thats when I was born. Now I feel like I need a wheel chair, hearing aids and false teeth. Maybe OK with the vigra stuff. Buts that due to being married to the same woman for over twenty years. You kind of forget how and what it is used for.
Dr. No was the first one, and that was several years AFTER I was born...now I feel old! -TD (BTW, anyone remember what kind of car 007 drove in Dr. No? Hint: it's related to the one in my avatar)
Right the first time, Drew! Now, what series was it? No, that's not fair....! And actually, I don't remember the color, I have a terrible memory for colors. -TD

Actually Casino Royale with Peter Sellers was the first one, but was done more as a comedy. Any one know what pistol Bond used before the PPK?
I believe it was the Beretta, I seem to remember M asking him for the outdated Beretta when the Walther PPK was issued to him, I don't recall which movie. And Casino Royale was released in 1967. -TD
My apologies....too much triptophan in my turkey yesterday LOL Casino Royale was the first book not movie.....and yes a Berreta .25 was the first pistol.
