Smeared windshield
The windshield on my truck is smearing. I have replaced wiper blades 2xs, to no avail. During the day it is not such a problem, but at night, the glare is killer. Any suggestions as to a cleaning solution/product that may aleviate this issue?

Sounds like you might have trailed somebody with a coolant leak and the glycol sprayed the windshield (and entire front end!). Try a rag with some denatured alcohol and see what happens. Might have to go to something stronger, like paint thinner, but in either case soak the rag lightly, clean the glass only, and avoid the weatherstripping. Then by ANOTHER set of wiper blades...the ones you have are already contaminated with whatever got on the windshield. Might help.

Bon-Ami ... hasn't scratched yet. Will take any road grime off your windshield and will not scratch it. Just don't use Comet or some off the wall cleanser or you'll be sorry. Only Bom-Ami. Happy detailing.

Try Soft Scrub. First spray the windshield down with Windex and then apply the Soft Scrub with a mesh covered sponge. Go in circular motions both vertically and horizontally several times in each direction, then scrub the wiper blades as well. Rinse evrything with clean water and you should be good to go.
