1980 won't start
I tried a search but so far found nothing in the archives. I have a 1980 F250 with a 351 and auto. It's been sitting around with little use. I start it now and then and run it arround to entertain the dogs. The other day I barely ran 10' and died. Thinking it was fuel I hadded more. Not it. I checked the fuel filter and it allows gas through. The gas flow seem okay for a mechanical pump. I changed ignition modules, replace the rotar and new distributer cap. I replaced the inline fuse last summer as it was getting brittle. It almost catchs but not enough. The plugs could also be replaced and will tomorrow. I am new to Fords and sure could use some tips. Any ideas?

A little background info would help. Was it getting harder to start lately, backfiring, anything like that. You say it sits, how old is the majority of the gas? How many miles? Things like that. Goodluck.
