2001, 2002, 4.0 stalling and erratic idle

Has anyone had any problems with 2001 or 2002 4.0 engines stalling intermittently on decelleration or erratic idle? I had a 2001 xlt 4.0 manual 4x4 with a 4.10 L/S, it would stall on decelleration and sometimes completely shut off while my foot was on the clutch. The truck also had an unstable rolling idle. Long story short the dealership reprogrammed the PCM twice, changed the TPS, They also changed a couple of other sensors. After months of this I convinced Ford that I was a candidate for the RAV (Reaquired Vehicle Program) and after a month of driving a free rental I picked up the keys to my new 2002 fx4 ranger. It has 400 miles on it and it is exhibiting similar symptoms. Any help would be great. thanx.

2001, 2002, 4.0 stalling and erratic idle

I have the same truck you used to have. I got it last OCT and it died twice on deceleration the first month I had it, but no more. It runs fine now.
