Why I love Ford

1) Changed the rearend in my F-100 last weekend... took FOREVER to get the drivers side axle out. It had never been apart before. Finally got them out and it was sludgy around the flange... Cleaned it up with brake cleaner, put it back together worked fine

2) While dropping the pumpkin out of the same rearend i was "scooping" the oil out of the rearend with my hand to make sure i got all of it out... I was like "what the heck is that' i picked up a bolt for the rearend... One of the big bolts that holds each spider gear on each side in....... I dont remember the name off the top of my head.. But theres 2 on each side that holds a "C" in.
Should have came apart LONG LONG time ago. Only one bolt in the drivers side.

3) Ignition box had been leaking out the contents for a year or more... I think it finally gave up on me today on the way home from work. was missing and sputtering... Came home.. yanked the one off the Bronco, plugged it in. fired the truck up...... ran fine... Took 3 screws out of the inner fender, took old box off, screwed new one to the fender....

4) Just to be sure I wanted to make sure the spark plug wires were all connected good. Easy to do since the distributor is in the front

Sorry for ranting, just feeling good today....... which hasn't happened in a long time..... But thats another post, about another subject that id rather not talk about.... just will say that i havent been wanting to live much lately.
