Brake light is staying on

Ok, here is the problem.

Solid red with a little diminishing to it. It has been taking a few momments these past two weeks or so to go out after initial start. Just happened tonight on the run home from work.

Brakes seem to work fine.
Good Vac, measured 21in at various points.
New RABS Valve, new master cyl, good fluid level and looks
After relaeasing the parking brake the light seems to diminsh the most but then comes back on.
No lockup, yet... Thank God and no signs of overheating at the wheels
Pedal Movement does seem a little harder at times.
No Anti Lock light flashing or giving signs of problems.

I hope I'm not looking at a new booster, I'm gonna hit the books and come back in a few to see what this great crowd can tell me.

Don't know where my signature went, but for know it's a 1990 F250 with a Jasper Reman 7.3 and a reman E4OD. And get this, the brakes have been done also to include a new RABS valve. Hmmm

Try the brake light switch if there is one. My sister's car does that all the time and she takes it in and thats what they replace. Look at the simple things before the expensive things.

if you pull up on the e-brake pedal does the light go out the rest of the way? if so it could just be your pedal spring not bringing your pedal to the switch.

I'll check that, thanks. Along with a vac check at the vac switch.
