Question Interior lighting

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger. I want to install a light under my dash. The problem I am having is I want it to turn on when I turn on my headlights. Dose any one know wear I should tap into to make this happen?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

If it is a small light you can pull power directly off of the switch for the head lights. Otherwise I'd run a small wire of the headlight switch to a relay to control the lights. Then you can also put a small switch to turn the light on without the headlight switch.

You could find the blue/red dash light wire and tap into it if the light you are hooking up is not very big. This blue/red runs all around the dash area for all the dash illumination.

Thank you I think I'm going to try that, as soon as I get back in the states. It is just a little three inch flooresnt light.
