Hello everyone! I'm new to the brotherhood. I just bought a 2001 Expedition Eddie Bauer! My wife and I love this thing. I have a few concerns I hope I can resolve with your help. First, I feel a slight vibration when driving and especially when the truck shifts to OD. I added Seafoam trans treatment and it took about half of it out. The Carfax I pulled showed the trans being service at 52,000 miles (10,000 miles ago) should I do it again? If so, what additives if any do you suggest? Filter and fluid brands? Also the CD changer will not work, it reads empty mag when in fact it is full. It worked when I bought it! Any help would be appreciated! P.S. It is 4WD

Welcome to FTE!!

I would swap out your fluid (it's rather cheap to do) and go from there.

I cannot imagine how or why Carfax would report a tranny service...

Do not use additives.

I do not know why your changer doesn't work....sorry but I'm glad you found us here!

Be especially careful to use the proper transmission fluid for the vehicle. The most reliable indicator of the correct type is found engraved on the transmission dipstick.
