Is anyone using the ISSPRO guages and pillar pod? Any worries? Are there better out there? Cheaper?
I like the color coded ISSPRO pyro, but none of the other guages are color coded. Any ideas?

I have the ISSPRO EV series gauges in my truck. In my opinion they match the dash gauges better then anything else on the market. Yes the color coded pyro is cool, makes it real easy to see when your getting close to 1250*. One thing you will find with most gauges when you put them in a pillar pod is the "U" shaped bracket that comes with the gauges won't quite fit in the pod. This is because the brackets were designed to work with the old style gauge mounting cups, not pods. The easy way to fix this and still have something holding the gauge in is to cut of one side of the "U". Then use only one of the stud on the back of the gauge to secure it to the pod. Some people don't put anything on thier gauges, rather they just rely on the press fit in the pod to hold them in. I wanted mine a little more secure.

I also have decided to go with the ISSPRO gauges. Motorhaven here on this site has some excellent prices, best I have found yet. Sent them an email about a week ago about the thermocouple as I wanted the Clamp on type,, havent heard back from them yet,, its been about 5 days i guess. Isspro has a great reputation for sure..If you find another place with better pricing please let us know,,I'm always looking to save a buck or 2..

ISS are nice, but I went with the Auto Meter Phantom gauges. I like how they look with the green cover over the light. With the Auto Meter's, you don't have to run a power block like you do for the ISS.
