I am a new member. 3 yrs ago I purchased a used 1997 Ford F150 with 28K miles on it. It is the first Ford I have owned, but will not be the last. I plan to purchase a used Expedition to replace my Nissan Quest(come to think of it, that's assembled by Ford). The only problem I've had with the truck was the power windows would not work at all. I checked the fuses, they were OK. The windows still wouldn't work.
The next day, the windows worked fine. My guess is the problem might have been a stuck relay that allows the power windows to operate after the keys are turned off untill the doors are opened. Anyway, the windows still work fine several weeks after the problem.
