plus gas?

i was at a station last night and a guy with a 2004 f-150 supercab xlt was putting chevron plus in his tank, i was wondering does shell plus do anybetter then shell regular? i mean does 2 points higher octane make a difference?

i own a 2003 screw 4.6L V8, 4x2, still stock

You shouldn't need anything more than 87 octane on a stock F150. Exceptions would be the lighting and harley models, but those are supercharged.

i have a 1998 f150 and i have tried high octane for a month, and low octane for a month. i didnt notice any diffrences in the preformance, but i did notice a dent in my wallet
