'96 E.B. Electric Antenna Replacement
Anyone have any ideas on where to buy a non-electric (non-motorized) antenna to replace the now damaged motorized one? I've been to Napa and they don't have a direct replacement. Not that I'm complaining, but I don't want to fabricate a metal plate to cover the odd shaped hole in the front 1/4 panel. If anyone has any sources for the part, I'd appreciate it.

You may want to check the car audio departments of Best Buys and Circuit City or other car audio store. They usually carry an array of replacement antennae. Of course, there is always the dealer or junk yard.

Still no luck
Well, I've tried Best Buy, local high end car audio stores, etc. to no avail. Everyone keeps recommending that I go to FOMOCO for the antenna. Does anyone have a '96 Explorer that does not have a power antenna? If so, do you have the same sort of rounded rectangular/triangular shaped cover as the electric ones that's mounted at about a 30% angle? I just don't want to dump more money or time than I have to into a truck I am going to sell in the next few months. Already ate a fuel pump, ball joints, etc.
