Breaking problem
1987 Ford Ranger:
The entire vehicle jerks/pulsates when breaking. Upon inspection the break rotors are grooved from the pads, but no warping can be detected. Any ideas?
Would having a shop rotate the rotors fix the problem?

Breaking problem
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Mar-02 AT 07:32 PM (EST)]I would check your local AutoZone. You can most likely replace the rotors for less that the cost of having them turned. I put new ones on my wife's car for $14 a piece.
