Hi Preformance 2.9L

I want to make my 2.9L engine a high preformance engine any sugestions? Port polish heads cam or a 5.0L

Hi Preformance 2.9L

I haven't had my 2.9 in 6 years now, but I know they didn't make much for it then. If you are looking for performace, I would go with a 302 swap. For the money it will cost you to port/polish, find parts and adjust for lack of parts, etc, you could buy/build a nice 302 and drop in it.

Look through some of the other posts and messages. There are a couple of guys who have done them recently and their info might help make up your mind on the best way to get the performace...
