Need Help
Hello, I have a major problem and an upset hubby. While riding down a city street, a branch fell off of a truck in front of me. I ran it over. Once I got to my destination, the truck wouldn't start. Ended up towing it home. Tried again a few days later. Had a friend over, he rewired a loose ground. Now, I have lights, but no spark. My dad suggested the neutral switch, but I'm not sure the poor thing is worth fixing at this rate. New battery, new solenoid, new alternator, old truck (1988). This truck is my hubby's fix'er upper project (well, was). We have been trying since MARCH to fix it, he refuses to give up. Any help for getting me out of the doghouse?

You ran over a big branch in the road??? I would have done the same. Did you check the cable to the starter? It's on the bottom-side of the motor and could have pulled loose. I think it will be something simple like that. If that looks O.K. or is what was fixed, you may have a blown fusable link.
