I have one in a 88 F350 with c-6 trans that I'm looking to sell. The Trans was rebuilt at the same time that I installed the gear vendor. I had the super duty convertor put in and had a TCI deep sump pan installed. The reason I'm selling it is I had a limo pull out in front of me and it totalled the truck according to the ins. company All it did was wrinkled the sheet metal up front. Never touched the 7.3 motor. If interested e-mail me at commanderx2@rcn.com

Guys,

No, I don't think you can make them interchange (tailshaft housings). I have spoken to GV numerous times. They offer different housings for different transes. I also have a C-6 housing, but want to sell the housing and purchase a T-400 (GM) one for my Pontiacs. GV wants $450 or so for new housing plus the old housing! Or $650 outright! BIG BUCKS!

Anyone interested in a swap for C-6 one for GM T-400 one, let me know?

My truck is a 1994 F-250 4x4. Anyone know if the C6 unit will work or can be made to work? I suppose the same issue would arise, but 650 is a lot less than a new one.
