Official Chapter Leader nomination thread

This thread will be open until Sunday November 29th, 2004 8 PM Eastern.

Reply only once with whom you wish to nominate for the Virginia Chapter Leader. This is not a discussion thread, so there shouldn't be any paragraphs guys (and girls too)

As soon as this thread is closed a new thread will be opened that has a poll which will elect the Virginia Chapter Leader. We are going to elect the leader this way so that the entire state can participate. Due to current gas prices and a lot of traveling this time of the season it is pretty much impossible to get everyone together in person to vote.

This thread is for nominations NOT for casting a vote.
Once a person has been nominated it may be seconded ....then that's it !

Wait & watch for other names.

These threads get so much longer than they need to be

That's correct, & that's what I stated.

Once a person has been nominated it may be seconded ....then that's it !

Here it is in Layman's terms.

Any other nomination names are Welcome, Just No More Tomcat.
Doh !
He HAS already been Nominated.

After the nomination deadline time is up >

We then have an "Election" this is where people VOTE their choice for who they want to represent them

Don't they teach Nomination/Voting procedures in Virginia ?

Um, please folks, I would like you to withdraw my nomination. Thanks though. (And thanks stu37d for recognizing that second "r" in my name!)

Well guys, I sure do feel bad for you since your stuck with me

I am going to orginize atleast a Richmond meet and a Northern, VA meet here in the near future. These will most likely take place after the holidays due to several obvious factors that we encounter this time of the season. I'm going to travel up there, never taken my truck that far (NoVA) so I can see how it does on gas .

In the mean time, over the next few weeks, we will be getting the chapter more into order with different posts being created for people to volunteer in leadership roles. If you have any ideas for the chapter or have any questions don't be afraid to ask. Either post it on the forum or send me a Private Message, my door is always open.

We're gonna have a great time guys
