Smile Changes after order submitted - Jeff??

Hi, Jeff - Bob from PA here and I last talked to you on Friday after telling you that I had made what I considered to be a real good deal on an '05 F-250 and the trade on my '03 Yellow Avalanche. The dealer placed the order on Friday afternoon while I was there. I just received a flyer in the mail from Ford which must have arrived on Saturday and this flyer shows a color that wasn't in any of the Ford material I had from the dealership. Ford calls the color "Screaming Yellow" and I would absolutely love to have it. I realize that not all colors are available for all models so my question is twofold: 1) Is the color available on the '05 250 XLT and 2) If available will the dealer be able to change it since the order only went in on Friday?? I'm asking you because I know I'll get a straight answer. My salesman who was rather young didn't know alot of things he should have known. Can I get the yellow or am I stuck with Red??

We have screaming yellow '05 XLT's sitting on lots here in FL. I didnt look at them all that close, but I know one had the black leather seats in it, I have no clue if this is required. Hope this gives ya a little peace of mind until Jeff gets back to ya!

Thanks Scott and could you tell me if it's a real "out there in your face" kind of yellow or is it some drab or mustard kind of yellow. Is it the same yellow you see on a happy face??

Yes I am sure Scott will agree with me. Check this thread http://www.fordtrucks.com/forums/sho...ight=amarillo+ There is a link to pictures of one. Still does not quite do the color justice

The yellow is only available with the Amarillo package, which is only available for order in the Southern and Western states. Your dealer can't order it, the only way you could buy one is to go to a dealer that has one in stock. The package doesn't even show for us Northern and Eastern dealers when we go to order a Super-Duty.

Thanks again, Jeff. Knew you would have the answer. I can get used to Red Clearcoat real easy. No problem.
