2001 Ranger

I'm thinking about purchasing a 2001 Ranger, 6 cyl. Does anyone know if that engine comes in two different sizes, or were they only making one size at that time?

2001 Rangers have 2 different V-6 engines, the 3.0 L "Vulcan" or the 4.0 L SOHC. Here's a link to Edmunds review site for that year:
