How much room?

I was considering buying a late 80's model ranger. I was wondering how much room there is inside of one. I am 6'1" and 250lbs. So I don't know if I could even get my legs into one.

They're not too bad. I'm 6'0" and I fit quite well, head room is good, legs feel ok in 89 with bucket seats. These trucks are definitely much better than the Chev S10 from the same years.

You should sit in one and also consider the supercab version. There is a lot more leg room because the seat travel is a little more and you can lean the seat farther back. I'm short, but I have owned both R/C and S/C and would not consider going back into R/C after owning a S/C.

I am looking at a 86' reg. cab ranger. I haven't had a chance to take it out for a drive is the only reason I needed to know this and it sounds like there is enough room.

My father sat in an S10 and a Ranger when he was looking for a new truck. He said the S10 roof was lower, where his hat (a regular baseball cap) was to where he could barely fit his hand between the roof and his hat. There was a lot more head room in the Ranger,so he bought the '86. He was just a shade under 6'4",225lbs. I am 6'2",180lbs, and we both found that truck very comfortable.
