Need Aerostar Help please
Hello I have a 1994 aerostar xl 3.0l rwd i need help with installing an aftermarket cd player i bought the scosche factory harness plugs and matched up the wires but the headunit had no power after i plugged the harness in well then i decided to put the original tape deck back in for the mean time. now it does not get any power to it. What am I doing wrong the whole radio does not turn on and the only thing that works is the illumination on the lcd but the display is not there. Is there something I am missing. please help I ran out of my options. Also there is the rear control panel but no equalizer so I don't thinnk it has premium sound. Please help!!!!!!!!!

I know it may be a dumb thing to say but have you checked your fuses? I had the same problem with my ranger and noticed that i had somehow blown a fuse during install. With the factory deck there is likly a seperate power wire to dim the face plate so that may be why your getting just the glow to the face plate, but no power.
