I have a 96 ranger supercab with 4.0 and auto trans. purchased new. It has 62,000 miles. Never changed the trans fluid. I get a slight vibration at idle and low speeds it seems to fade in and out. At 70 miles per it is more pronounced but it also comes and goes. I have had new tires installed and balanced with no change in simtoms. The problem seemed to develope at about 40,000 miles. Anyone have any ideas?

If you mean you are parked when you feel it at idle I would look at the engine for a vibration. For a vibration at speed I would look at the driveshaft balance or the u joints if the tires are not an issue. If you put it in neutral see if it goes away, this will eliminate anything up stream.
