Have any of you out there been called weird because of what you collect? They say I am because I collect all kinds of things. Like my trucks and toy cars and trucks and gas memorabilia? And of course the music I listen to.

 

Of course, I've been called weird, it's just because we're too intelligent and deep for any "normal" people to understand us!

Tell them to keep collecting their n'sync posters and leave us "weird" people alone.

 

People think I'm weird because of all the cars and trucks I have, plus I collect parts for vehicles I don't even have, like all the trim off a '47 Mercury, but it was cheap and couldn't pass it up. Weird is in the eye of the beholder. I think people who don't like old cars and trucks are weird.

im called weird almost every day. for the music i listen to (ok so death and black metal is a little weird) and the way i do stuff. people judge me before they get to know me. and yes i was even called weird and a few others which i can't post here but it really doesn't bother me that much

 

Hmm... Lemmee think a minnit...

1) I listen to a wide range of music, but I'm a freak for old "Hair Bands"

2) I also love classical, new age, jazz, and blues....

3) For living room furniture, I have a squat rack, over 1500 pounds of weights, and a multi position bench for presses...

4) Before I moved, I had an engine cherry-picker and a motor stand in my living room too...

5) I'm not predjudiced, but my home is in the south...

6) I hate it when I see a dog carcass laying in the road, but I'd love nothing better than to present Osama Bin Laden's head on a PIKE to the united nations..

7) It occurred to me - we hear about animal lovers all the time. Why don't the plant lovers whine about the poor innocent lettuce and tomato plants? -I guess they all starved to death long ago....

8) Why don't Dolphin lovers care about Tuna? -Funny about that...

9) If ten thousand people sign a petition stating that death is wrong, is the Government obligated to make us all live forever?

10) Some people will read all of this, and not notice anything funny or interesting. It took me a long time, but I realised that's normal for some people and it isn't my job to do anything about it.

Strange, yeah. I think it's called life or something like that........

 

Weird??? hummm let me think if i can remember the last time i wasnt called weird ...as far as music goes i listen to everything from Bach to Metalica depending on my mood,as far as collecting things hum i collect matchbox cars i do models of trucks and semis and i have a H.O. scale train collection i guess im still just a kid at heart ...so yeah im weird but hey life to short to be "normal"

 

Glad you reminded me.

I need to start collecting trains again....
