found out while my 88 2.9 ran cold
I wanted to thank everyone for their help and tell everyone what it was. Well sinc I bought it has run cold and on the temp gauge N being on top and L on the bottom of gauge and below that was the 1st line it was always no higher than the 1st line and all of a sudden the other night I noticed it was very warm in the truck and looked at temp gauge as was shocked to see it on the M. So I got worried and stopped and parked it whiling running checked for steam and found nothing wrong at that time and so I left it and came back in the morning and then drove it home and it was running cold as usually so my husband said it must be the thermostat so he went to replace it and found out that it had no thermostat at all. To his shock. No it does and runs well and the gauge reads at the A and the thermostat opens at the top of the M . So I amhappy to know why now.
Thanks again,
Kallie
causing the windows to fog with a unremovable haze.
It's all fixed now. I have more power now that the engine is
actually getting to operating temp.
Thanks,
Kallie
