'67-'72 dash into '78?

'67-'72 dash into '78?
I've seen '78 or so F-600s with these type dashes before, wondering how hard it would be to swap one into a '78 F-150? Are the dashes spot welded in or bolted? If it is feasible could any '67-'72 serve as a donor truck? Thanks.

It is a possible swap. The older ones are welded in, though. The steering column comes through the floor on the heavy trucks and sits at a different angle. The heavy truck dash therefore doesn't have the column cut-out on the bottom edge and I believe they didn't have dash pad holes. Probably be just as easy to cut the dash from a 68-72 F100-350 and you'd have the correct column configuration.
