Question Camber Correction Question

Hey, I have a 97 250 x-cab 4*4 w/ 8 foot bed and an independant front end.... today i am going about correcting the camber angle from /--0-\ to |--0-| with a set of new springs and a ***-a-leaf kit... i was wondering if this was going to affect my 4 wheel drive... should i buy drop brackets for the pivot on the crossmember? or will it be ok as long as the tires are even with the ground (proper camber angle) i figured that it would be ok w/o modifying the brackets, because i'm bringing the front end back to center... but i'm not sure.... any input would be great!! thanks in advance!!

Are your new front springs stock height?

Drop bracket on the pivot will increase the problem. Replaceing the front springs should correct it.

the most common cause of incorrect camber like your truck are the pivot bushings(inside pivot brackets) even just a little wear in them shows a big sag. i would at least check those
Just adding add a leafs should not warrant pivot drop brackets unless adding 2 or more inches- but it will affect your camber/caster and toe in/out
