Fiberglass woos
I am building a box for under hood so I built it out of wood then laid glass on the corners to reinforce it before covering the rest. Well it seams sanding the box with a rougher grit would have been a good idea because it all came off when I started sanding. OK 60 grit and that got it so now the next layer, OK I should have let it dry longer because I F’ed it up again. OK once again get it on let it dry longer sand it out cover the inside, let it dry and sand again. Lay on the next layer let it dry CRAP big *** air pockets developed all over. Cut them out then sand and fill with new glass. That is where I’m at now, tomorrow I am going to skim it with kitty hare bondo to fill any small holes and sand it out and let that dry for painting. With luck all will go better tomorrow. I tell you stupid crap has been kicking my butt on projects all this week.
