Hi Guys! I'm new here but, I (we) might be interested in coming to the meeting. If it would work out with my work schedule. I haul liq. fertilizer in the spring from late March/early April thru the second week of July. So my meeting time would have to be later in July. I also am pulling a garden tractor this year and I haven't seen the schedule for '05 as of yet but, if it would work out. I (we) would gladly show up. I'm in NE IN. about 50 miles north of Ft.Wayne on SR3. In Mongo.... I make two rounds to Chicago a day - six days a week in the spring. U.S.41 would work o.k. for me as far as that goes too! A couple of hours but, I think the old dog is up to it! Might possibly be interested in some sort of position in the club too - As far as that goes! I watch for news and info.!

Hoss and Black Dog....

Midwest Meeting

Once the Indiana Chapter has elected/selected it's Chapter Leader both the Illinois and Indiana Chapters can plan for a Midwest Meeting at U.S. 41.

Is June or July the best in your opinions?

The Illinois Chapters' FIRST "show/picnic" will be held at Kankakee River State Park. The date will be May the 8th and a rain date of the 15th.

We are also discussing a Meeting with the Iowa/Missouri Chapters as well.

I joined the Indiana Chapter a while ago as I have family there.

I would think Chris_CE or Streetcruzer would be great Chapter Leaders.

The nomination choice I feel is not mine to make.

As Illinois Chapter Leader, I will offer to help and support to which ever member is chosen for the position.

Here is a link for you http://www.us41dragway.com/

The first weekend in june and july is out for me. But if you stop by my camp site I will supply you with a beer.

Looks like the best place is the drag strip although I don't think my 4x4 will put up a good time.

Lets try and see if we can get some dates together.

I e-mailed our Chapter Event Coordinator for his opinion and suggestions.
Looks like we have someone to iron out the details. I may need to get one of those event coordinators.

Meeting

As the meeting locations/schedule for the Illinois Chapter takes shape for 05', August would be the best time at the moment for us to meet with the Indiana
Chapter.

We have many members in Central and Southern Illinois to meet with.

We may have a meting in Danville , which is a stones throw from Indiana if that would be okay with the Indiana Chapter members as well.

Let us know what suits your members best? Either post here, contact me or our Chapter Event Coordinator JohnT. Thanks

Best wishes to Chris_CE, Streetcruzer and all the members of the new Indiana Chapter!

I would try to set up a place to meet people coming in every hour or two. Say upto 2pm. Some people might not be able to meet at noon.

meeting

How about parking at the EAST end of the spectator parking SOUTH of the Pit area?

We could sit in the first Bleachers at the top?

We could have someone direct members to where we are once they enter and park?

If we know where we would sit that should be good enough.
