95 250 Tranny Question
My 96 now has 106K miles. It had 96K when I got it. It shifts ok. Sometimes it shifts hard. To my knowledge, the tranny has never been serviced. My question is, would you guys have it serviced with this many miles? The guy at the shop says its not uncommon for a 1st service on a PSD w/this many miles. I've always heard once you have this many miles, it would probably do more harm than good. Any help will be appreciated.

It should be ok. I have serviced them with as many miles as 240k. Same symptoms as yours. Still going strong at 266k miles. Personally I don't think 100k is too much and is much better than the alternative of running burned up trans oil.
