Helo Wheels with Manual Locking Hubs

I'm not too experienced at purchasing cutom wheels and had a question. My 99 Superduty has manual locking hubs and I am looking at purchasing a set of Helo Maxx8 wheels for it. Just how does the front wheels tie into the axle/hub (as far as looks go)? Is there a removable centering cap? I have seen custom wheels that just allow the rusty axle to stick through and the wheel doesn't blend well. You end up having this black (or rusty) middle part that looks like crap.Or sometimes there is a big gap between the hub and the wheel which pertrudes out to the end of the hub. I would prefer to be able to have a chrome cap on it, even if it meant removing before locking in my hubs, which I do not do very often. I don't know if this makes sense or not, but any comments before I purchase these would be very appreciated...

I don't know about Helo wheels....but I'm guessing that they are like all other lug-centric wheels. On all the other lug-centric wheels I've seen the center cap installed from behind the wheel so you have to put the caps on before you mount the wheel. The ones for the rear will look fine......and there are open caps for the fronts so you can still access the locking hubs without having to remove the wheel. However, all center caps on lug centric wheels that I have seen look bad, IMO, since they don't fit tight around the hub.

Weld are the wheels that come to mind where the open centers fit tighter to the locking hub, or if you choose to run closed caps on the fronts they can easily be removed since they are installed from the outside.

If you still choose the lug-centric wheels like the Helos you could choose not to run a center cap on the fronts........I don't run any center caps on my front wheels:

Hope this helps.
