Down Pipe

I have a 04 Super Duty but believe it has an 03 motor and was wondering if anyone can tell me what size the down-pipe is? Is it the straw shape or the nice 3.5/4"? I can not see because it is wrapped up real nice in all the insualtion it came with. This will help decide if I purchase a turbo back exhaust or Cat back! Know cat backs are cheaper.

04 6.0L, FX4, CC, LWB, Auto w/17780miles and still loving the power!

I don't remeber the size when I took mine off, but it is worth the money to go turbo back IMO. The stock one is pretty bent up and "squished" under the insulation, the aftermarket one is so nice compared to the stock.

I think it was 3" but no bigger than 3.5"

I measured it where I cut mine off and it was between 3 and 3.5 but it had a lot of bends in it that were kinked that were probably smaller. I put the aftermarket downpipe on and I am very happy I did.
