Parts buyer

Hey guys i'm new to FTE, but it seems pretty cool. I wish I had known about it when i still had my ranger. Anyways, speaking of which, recently I was in an accident with my '86 ranger, and now i'm looking for a place to sell the parts off of it. Does anyone know of a company in Phoenix that buys used truck parts, like the engine or clutch assembly and stuff like that. B/c all of that is wasn't touched in the accident. Any help would be greatly appreciated, b/c all the buisnesses i've called don't buy in. Thx again

FTE has a classified section

https://www.ford-trucks.com/classifieds/index.php

or you might try running an ad in the local paper.
I don't know of any one company that will buy all the parts for anything near what they are worth.
sorry bout your loss, it is a great sight though!

Mark

Open an account on ebay and sell it there (really easy to do, intimidating at first but easy). There's always someone out there that'll buy, and if multiple people need it, let 'em duke it out in a bidding war. Just more $$$ in your pocket.

actualy, I really like having local ads in the AZ section, I don't have to weed through all the other crap. and people will be more willing to post if they are local, instead of thinking that someone MIGHT comeone along and see it, and they MGIHT want it, and they MIGHT be from arizona.

its the way it should be!

I agree... I'd rather post ads to people in state and sell to people in state.

what if someone, say in new hampshire, has exactly what you need at a very reasonable price...(even after shipping)...would you rather miss out on it, just because you're looking only in the arizona chapter forum?

How about a calssified section per "in state" fourm, which is ALSO linked in to the big classified area. To be honest, I didnt even know FTE had a classified section until recently. I guess as long as it doesnt get out of hand and that is the only thing the fourm is filled with it really doesnt bother me.

Then again I dont make the rules and I dont want to. If participating in the fourm means following fourm rules, by all means, I will follow them!
