I feel the same way about welding and fabrication skills, but I am willing to try. I have seen some of the work that you do. I think you can do a nice job. Just do a couple practice peices first.
The price I paid is the lowest of any beadlocks I've found. If you know of a better deal post up because I'd be very interested. Staz is close but as I said I've heard he sometimes is slow about delivery too. Dan is sending call tags for the wheels and having them blasted and repainted with the same silver as the wheels I pictured above. So I should have them back in a few weeks. Given the fact that I've had some delays on my truck also that's not really a big deal. I was hoping they would have arrived before I went to Portland so we could have run them on Pro's truck but they weren't here in time.
I wish they would have been perfect the first time but they weren't and he's fixing it. There's nothing wrong with the welds as I've already discussed. My issue is with the finish of them . . . gotta have my bling.
you and your bling, now your starting to corrupt me I went down this afternoon, and picked up the heads for the new engine, and he had the headers for them sitting there, and since he isn't going to use them sold them to me, and they are CHROME I can't believe CHROME on my truck.
Bwahaha! Come to the Dark Side! (No, I won't even pretend to be your father)
Well who got the short end of the stick here? My influence makes you spend an extra $100 on chrome. You guys make me spend an extra $20K on my truck. Somehow it just doesn't seem fair.
I must resist I muuussst resist the pull is sooooo strong I can resssiisst, OH wait aminute I am the one with a black helmet, and darkened face shield, and I am the older one, I think you need to come to my side
your influence actually save me $250 vs buying a new set of headers
now if when can just get you to install a 12 point cage, and rear mount that radiator (hey an alum radiator in the bed is bling isn't it.)
About the only thing preventing me from a rear mount radiator right now is I want to be able to SEE out of my back window and I don't know that a radiator mounted down low like yours would do the trick on my truck. That's not to say it won't happen but realistically I don't need it right now.
Next year, as soon as it warms up again, I'm building a tilt front end. Now THAT will be blingin!
That's not to say it won't happen but realistically I don't need it....
Hah! When has that every stopped you from the quest of Bling!?
So will Dan will getting those rockrings welded on while he has your rims back, that would make sense. I'm glad to see him making this right.
You know, I'm high profile here and also run comps, so I offered dan to run his rims for free to test them out for him. Oddly enough he didn't take me up on the offer

Heck I would make him a good deal on some bling headers but he would probably complain, first about having to cut 2 holes in his hood, then about the noise, and lastly would have a fit because they wouldn't bolt up to his heads with the BBC bolt pattern on the flanges. but they would definatly add some bling to his truck.
i personally like black wheels and say you should do that... but i don't see you doing that so go with powdercoating, much stronger and i think better looking than chrome. good luck and hope he sorts it all out with you.
