'99 Expedition, chasing a gremlin
Hi all, Thanks in advance...
'99 Expedition 4.6L AWD 80K miles
At around 60K miles my odometer started cutting out for short periods of time. Continued until 75K miles when I changed spark plugs - then went away.
Now at 80K miles - Last couple of days, the odometer problems is back. Also having a weird problem where the 4X4 light will start blinking off & on while I'm driving - at the same time the turn signals stop working. While the truck is in this state the 4WD drive will not engage until I come to a stop-
Usually turning the engine off resolves this problem; Once I had to disconnect battery for a little while.
Maybe a bad ground? Electical systems are definitely not my strong suit...

Also have a 99 Expedition. The SAME problem with the odometer happens to mine. Brought it to the dealership and they said its a problem with them. Found out the price to be fixed, and decided I can live with that problem!
