Converting to V belt system

Converting to V belt system
My 88 460 has the new serp belts and I need to run a hydro pump off the engine and I have two options:
1. have a custom pully made
2. convert back to old V belts
If I choose to convert to V belts, I just need to change over the water pump and then all the pullies right?
- Otherwise does anyone know of an adapter that will let you add V belts to the front of the main pully.

You will have to change the water-pump to work in the new rotation from the V-belts. I would think it would be easiest to adapt a V-belt pulley to one of the Serpentine pulley mounts; I know there are people who do this to run York A/C compressors as on-board air-compressors on the small Jeep Wranglers with the Serpentine Belt setup.
