Shop manual
Does the service manual you can get for $50 on CD have detailed instructions on the Holly 4bbl carb?
I know I've bought shop manuals for other stuff (ATVs, tractors, etc) and a lot of them pretty much leave the carb out aside from throwing in a diagram or two with a few of the parts labelled... which leaves me to believe there must be carb manuals out there somewhere put out by the carb mfg. Thanks.

Yes it should have specific sections for the Holley carb installed on these trucks. Get the one for your year. I have a cd but don't know where it is now. It looked like a direct copy of the paper manual I have which does have a Holley section.
