Rolled back odometer on 87 IDI

hey,
Im looking at this 1987 f-250 6.9l idi W/ 70,000 miles? now i aint no expert on this but what do you guys think is the odometer rolled back? it has a new vacum pump, alternater,battery. now the alternater and battery i can see but not a vacuum pump.

Maybe they never drove it?

My dads 87 has less than 60,000 original miles. Low milage vehicles are out there though few are far between.

Did the owner say it's actual milage? Is it priced as if the milage was that low?

Look at the driver controls,brake pedal,gas pedal,floor mat,steering wheel,arm rest on door and handle on the door,and last the seat.these usaully tell the tale.

not always, i have a 87 f350 6.9 4 speed, that looks like brand new inside out minimal wear on anything in the interior and it has a 163,000 miles on it, it all depends on who. how and what it was used for as the condition will be.

you know my story 5 digit odometer? More than likley 170000 go to carfax and get a report 20.00 as you know it was the best 20 i spent.... buying from a dealer he should have you sign a mileage truth odometer statement which will state that the odometer is borken or over what the odometer can read

My od says 96,000. I wish. Its actually got 196,000 and that was before the od was unhooked when the tcase was changed out. Now its around 200 and pedals, steering wheel, and armrests are well worn. The seat is completely shot.
