engine swap

hello, can anyone tell me if a motor out of a 86 f 150 will work in a 89 model without any problems?

What engine is it? A 302 should swap just fine, since they are both fuel injected. 300/6 will too. A 351W will give you fits, since in 86 they were still carbureted, but in 89 they were fuel injected. Everything else should mount up just fine (mounts, bolts...etc)
