LUK preasure plate
Interesting situation about the preasure plates used in the V-10....I own a 04' SCLB 4X4......I'm looking to upgrade my clutch.....I get a slipping, squealling noise when I take off 'specially when I have the plow on, or when taking off up a steep grade......Anyway, it seems that LUK is the only manufacturer of these preasure plates, no matter what brand you buy the preasure plate will be a LUK.and from what I've heard the design hasn't been changed in years so there really is no upgrade for the preasure plate... Apparently you can purchase different style clutch discs but as far as the preasure plate goes it's gonna be a LUK...Have any of you upgraded your manual clutch, and if you have what did you use ????? any input would be most helpful ....thanks.........Marty
