Ran thru the scan tests at a shop today, and they told me I need another ECM. This 94,4x2,4.0 with 5sp.
Have been getting codes on 2dery fuel pump, lean run o2 sensors, have in the past disconnected the idle-air valve, intermittent check engine light. They got the fuel pump code, but they said I do not have this circuit, the idle-air disconnect did not show and no other codes appeared. They are supposed to run $3-400 locally so I need a good source (cheaper) or someone who has wrecked a simular vehicle and may want to sell their ECM.
That $300-$400 sounds a bit high! I just replaced my PCM in a 97 4X4 with 5 speed manual and it was like $280ish but $260 with my Ford discount. I know that it's a ODD-II PCM but I don't think that it should be that much. I've heard of older ECMs for like $75
