So, I locked my keys in my 2000 superduty (supercab) and don't have another set. Is there any way to break into the truck without damaging anything...or am I just going to have to shell out some cash to the locksmith/Ford Motor Companies?
Okay this is what you can try...I did this when I was out in the middle of our land out inthe middle of no where.
Assuming you have power locks, get a flathead screwdriver and another helping hand. Unscrew your antenna (or a coat hanger, but make undo it to extend it full length). Insert the flat head screw driver into the top of the door seem, and pry out VERY CAREFULLY, have your helping hand hold it like that. Then insert the antenna or coat hanger down and hit the power lock button, and wallah, you got it. When I did this it didnt put a single mark on the door, but just be carfull. It only has to come out enough to fit a coat hanger down into. Hope that helps.
good idea with the screwdriver thing..but in the future..always create a spare set..and that way you wont have to worry about using that technique..just my 02 cents...
