I tried with the pedal to the floor. Removed the wet plugs and let them dry over nite, plug's still wet even being out over nite. It's 20 deg now so i don't the gas is drying up???? I turned off the gas and cranked the engine without the plugs in, a few times. Anything else I can try to get rid of the extra fuel? Should i put in a new set of plugs just yet?
Mike, why is it flooding? are you getting spark? what year/model is your truck? i have an 88 and had trouble with the fuel pressure regulator. mine has the 351w/5.8l in it. anyway it is located at the back of the engine. there is a small vacuum line on the bottom. pull that off and if there is any gas in it the diaphram of your regulator has been compromised. replace the regulator. they are cheap and are held in by only 3 little screws but are pain to replace because of access. that is all i can think of for now till you tell us more.
Had a trouble code for a bad Map sensor on my 1987 f150 4.9 ( see signature on upper right) Replaced it and still no start. I think the flooding was chaused by trying to start it with a bad map sensor. I can't believe the map and fuel reg would go at the same time????? I was wounding if i put in a new set of plugs would they just get wet to???

slim chance that all your plugs will be bad. some should fire and likely after drying out would catch. it is probably something else. have you checked for spark at the plugs? when my fuel reg went i got about 4 miles to the gallon, there was raw fuel coming out the tailpipe and gas in the oil as i recall. changed oil right away. (you should too if you have any gas in the oil)
hope that helps some.
what was your code? it could be something in the MAP system not just the MAP itself. those codes can lead you astray sometimes. like i replaced somes sensors only to find a broken vacuum as the culprit.

Got code 22, 22 MAP (vacuum) or BARO signal out of range - MAP I'll try cleaning the old plugs, and try whit the fuel off. maybe that will burn up the raw fuel. They all are firing fine, just wet and full of soot. Will change the oil for winter anyways, thanks.
