heater not working

My heater isnt working. My dad said i must not have enough coolant in the radiator, but the resevoir is half full when the truck isnt on. what else could it be, or do i need to add more water to my coolant? The air still blows out of the vents, its just not heating at all.

You should check the coolant in the radiator as well. There may be some in the bottle but still low in the radiator. Normally when it is just a little low, it will start to blow warm air as you speed up. You may also have a stuck thermostat or some ac/heater blend door probs.

I would make sure the blend door is operating correctly next.
