i found a 2004 f350 with 6.0 in it at a insurance yard the truck is totaled but the engine idles fine little rough but won't accelerate becuase there is no pedal i paid 150.00 for the engine and moved the truck to another yard across town that was the deal.my question is was this a smart move i plan later on putting this in my 75 with a 1 ton suspension i took all the ellectrical too just in case.would this work

If you got the transmission, and all the engine electricals it should work no with no problems. The new trucks use a "drive by wire" where the gas pedal is a variable resistor and sends a signal to the computer, which in turn opens the throttle.
