SC installed but what plug to use

Well, I spent 14 hours of my Saturday installing my Powerdyne SC on my Mountaneer...now I need to figure out what plug I should use..
I was initially going to just go one colder than the stock platnum, and a gap about .035, but doing some research it seems a DENSO or NGK iridium might be a better choice....at a bit of a wider gap .040 - .050

The Lightning comes stock with a platnum plug at a .054 gap...so do you REALLY need a gap of .030? I am only running 6psi of boost.

Comments? Thanks.

You don't want to go with a wider gap, that will blow the spark out with a supercharger.
A colder plug with a closer gap will keep the spark consistant and keep from burning holes in the pistons.
I don't know much about Moutaineers/Explorers, but I run NGK's on my blown 94 Lightning/5.8 and have never had a problem with them.

Iridium....I've been told be some to stay away from platinums for boosted applications.

I went with a one colder than stock and a gap of .035. No more ping.
I need to install the FMU and inline pump that came with the kit as I am losing fuel pressure above 3 psi.

The pump and FMU should be your #1 priority now....leaning out a cylinder can result in very expensive repairs.
