I would love to see your leveled SD F250. I'm looking to level my truck (2004 CC SD F250) as well and would like to see what the outcome will be. Please post the brand of level kit, tire size, shocks, block size, and wether or not you are happy with it. Thanks!
Me too. I am interested in the same information (but for my '02 F-250 2WD CC)... Anyone go the taller springs route? Same duty rating as stock, but just taller coil springs in front to level it out??? If so, where'd ya get 'em? Who makes 'um? How much were they? etc etc etc... Thanks!!!
I just bought a Spring that was arched 3 inches and installed it under the front springs and then replaced the 2 inch block witha 3inch one. The truck sits level and a bit higher!! All for the price of 186 bucks!!
I'm also looking for info on this. I have an 04 F250 PSD CC 4wd and put 295's over the weekend on it, which slightly rub when turned full lock to the left. I am going to put a leveling kit on and 4" blocks in the back. Question is, which leveling method? Tuffcountry makes a kit for $280 that has what appear to be mini spring packs that go under the stock springs and a track bar relocator bracket. Is this an acceptable method? The other option, which appears more expensive, is to get new springs. I want to install it myself. I don't do heavy off roading, but a little bit, hunting/fishing/atv, etc. Any help?
I have a 1999 F-250 Super Duty V10 that came with the 4400# rated front leafs. I replaced the factory front leafs with the 5200# rated leafs. It rides a little rough, but looks a lot better. I was lucky with the rear height b/c Ford decided to use the 3.5" spacer blocks on some F-250's and mine was one of them. I've got some pics on this web page -> http://personal3.stthomas.edu/MLMALECHA/
Why did you choose to do that method instead of purchasing one of the kits? Is that all you had to change? You didn't have to change the track bar bracket or anything else?? And did you buy Ford springs or aftermarket springs rated for that weight? I would prefer to keep a near factory ride, but I'm not totally set on that. Thanks for the info.
I thought it would be cool to have the added capacity in case i wanted to plow in the future. The springs were all I changed, but I am looking into an adjustable track bar. My new leafs are the Ford Snow Plow Package leafs - from the parts counter.
if you want the factory ride, buy the drop hanger kit... i also recomend the adj trac bar NOT the relocating bracket...i have the relocating bracket and i have bump steer.... i will be purchasing a adj trac bar soon...
