1940/1942-47

What are the differances between the door's of a 1940/41 & the 42-47? Thanks

I see it's been several days and no one wants to stick their neck out on this one. Don't hold me to this bit I believe that they are the same . The cabs are dimensionally the same with the exception of the cowl where the fenders attach.and some other small differences. I have a '40 and a fellow I know has a '46. I spoke with him on the phone last night and we compared some measurements. We are both convinced that they will interchange but there are some small differences with the latch as far as we can tell. If nothing else, someone will likely read this and either agree or disagree. One way or the other maybe we have started some dialogue on the subject. Lazy

They will bolt in, and can be interchanged, however, there are some minor diffs, as stated above. Mainly in stuff like the window felt channels and such, or so I have seen. The glass in the '42-'47 cabs is surrounded by a metal frame, the '41 and earlier didn't have the frames. But you can use a '40/'41 on a '42/'47, and vice versa
