Trasfer Case Help
HEEELPPPPP!!!!!!
I went into 4WD this morning, and now I cant get out.
When I go back into 2WD I have no reverse. When I try I get a high pitched grinding noise coming from the transfer case and I dont move.
In 4WD high I get the same thing as 2WD. But in low I can drive in reverse or forward but in Low gear.
Anyone know of a good Blow up Diagram of the transfer case on the web? All the auto part stores here will have to order the manual becuase they are out.

My guess is the 4wd shifter motor has failed or is not getting power. Try tapping it a few times and check the electrical connection. If it still won't shift, remove the motor and have it checked. They tend to stick if not cycled much.
