Strange noise ?
This is a stupid question, but can anyone tell what the device is that is just in front of and below the left battery on my 2001 PSD? It makes a noise when the key is on and I'm "waiting to start". There are no problems or concern, I am just curious what is making the noise and why. This is my first diesel so I'm trying to learn as much as I can about it. Thanks for any help.

On my 1999 F-350 it is the controller for the 4 wheel ABS brakes. It is probably the same on your truck.
